We are the Goddess Society- A group of Fun, Beautiful and Amazing Women who know how to have a good time...Doing Nothing At All or Absolutely Everything! We gather at pools, Starbucks, Sushi, and nail salons in our domain we call Greeley,Colorado. Our names represent the powers we have...or think we have. And we have wonderful supportive males that allow us to spend the quality time we deserve. For we are professionals, mothers, wives and mentors- otherwise known as-wait for it...Goddesses!

How The Greeley Goddess Society came to be

The Greeley Goddess Society was born in the summer of 2010 in our Main Domain where all our Great Goddess Ideas come from-The Pool!

(OK, we wish this was our pool!)

As we lounged in the sun and floated in the pool, we chatted and joked, laughed and sipped adult beverages.  On one cloudless day in mid July, the discussion came around to "we should call ourselves something."  Princess wanted us all to be Princesses but it really only seemed to fit her.  Divas or Queens didn't feel right either, so our "assignment" was to come up with something that fit all of us.

The next time we gathered at the pool, I had written down Goddess and made up a few Goddess Titles based on our personalities.  Everyone agreed that Goddess fit us best and we set about creating our own mythology.  Goddess Soleil and Goddess Caress stayed and others were tweaked/changed to suit their Goddess perfectly. (see the intro posts to see each Goddess Name)

As Goddesses, we don't rule anyone (except our kids) or think we are above anyone else (we won't banish you to Hades for wrongdoing). We are just here to have a good time, enjoy great company and have adventures  as we live our lives. Here on this blog, we will document our Goddess Saga...feel free to follow along and see what we do next!

    Want that pool, Soleil! A goal for the Goddesses: save up enough coin to find a pool like that in paradise! Nearby warm ocean a must, too! :)
